Reimagine The Way You Provide Healthcare
Learn more about us.
CHI provides integrated clinical service coordination—not direct care—for healthcare systems and physicians. We also coordinate practice support for physicians and mid-level providers, aligning efforts to improve care continuity.
Our client clinicians are credentialed across multiple hospitals and clinics, allowing patients to see familiar providers in different settings. With consent, these providers can communicate with others involved in the patient’s care, supporting seamless, coordinated treatment.
How it works: The providers we coordinate are trained and credentialed by our clinical service coordination clients. Once placed, we keep them integrated within each healthcare system by providing ongoing updates on training, facility policies, and clinical protocol changes. This ensures they stay aligned with the evolving needs of the facility and the physicians they support.
CHI acts as a liaison between providers and facilities—handling administrative coordination so both can focus on patient care. For example, if a facility requests an updated Certificate of Insurance (COI), CHI steps in to support the provider and ensure a timely response. Our role is to streamline communication and remove barriers that can interrupt the continuity of care.
Who we serve:
Our clients include medical and psychiatric healthcare providers across hospitals, clinics, and healthcare systems. We work with physicians, mid-level providers, and facility leaders seeking integrated clinical service coordination and practice support.
Our services are designed to help these providers improve patient outcomes, streamline operations, and enhance care delivery. By offering flexible provider coverage, integrated training updates, and seamless coordination across care settings, CHI helps ensure continuity and quality in patient care.
About Our CEO
David is an Atlanta-based healthcare leader with nearly 40 years of progressive experience in healthcare service delivery and operations, all driven by a core commitment to improving the quality of care. He specializes in analyzing consolidated P&Ls and optimizing departmental efficiencies to help systems deliver better outcomes at lower cost.
He pioneered the Managed Risk Sharing Agreement, enabling healthcare systems to go at risk with payors by trading economies of scale for “efficiencies of expertise”—a concept he introduced in a 1984 white paper for UGA’s Terry College of Business.
David has managed multi-state contracts with major organizations including Universal Health Services, Acadia Healthcare, Piedmont Healthcare, US HealthVest, and Gwinnett Medical Center. He holds degrees in Economics, Psychology, and Neuropsychopharmacology, is a former licensed counselor in Texas, and is certified in Systems Engineering and Healthcare IT Systems Administration.
His work includes leading Georgia’s first hospital system to go at risk with Aetna, developing cutting-edge Brain Injury Rehab programs in Texas for the Moody Foundation, and serving on the Epic rollout committee for Piedmont Health System. He has also authored peer-reviewed publications in Neuropsychopharmacology and Brain & Behavior journals and wrote a 1986 dissertation predicting the impact of expert systems on the healthcare industry.
With a career grounded in both clinical and operational insight, David brings a unique ability to align innovation, efficiency, and strategy—all in service of advancing healthcare quality.
